Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at hello@cotswoldstitchandprint.co.uk  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We offer custom embroidery services for businesses, schools, clubs etc as well as for individuals. We have a huge selection of products to choose from in our product catalogue, including hats, shirts, jackets, bags, and more.

Completion time varies depending on the complexity and size of the design, but we aim to have all projects completed within 7 days of  artwork approval.

Yes. Your order will not be processed until confirmation of payment and proof approval.

After payment confirmation we will provide you with an invoice and proof  with your embroidery or print placed on a mockup of the finished item . The print proof will show print location, size, colour and any other additional information as necessary.

Artwork should ideally be provided as a vector file format. Vector file formats can be resized infinitely without loss of quality which aids us in producing the best stitch quality . Vector file formats include PDF, EPS, AI or CDR.  JPG files are perfectly fine however we recommend creating the artwork slightly larger than to scale of the actual embroidery or print

Due to the setup times involved with print and embroidery,  sample garments simply aren’t viable. However we will provide a proof mockup  with print specifics such as size  and position.

In order to turn your design into a stitch file that can be read by our embroidery machines it needs to be professionally digitised. This involves turning each element of the design into stitches, the right kind of stitches need to be chosen for each different element which can be very time consuming.

Once the design has been digitised, there are no further digitising costs associated with that design.
